En mayo teníamos la noticia de que la primera copia del disco homónimo de de David Bowie, que luego sería reeditado como Space Oddity, se convertía en el disco más caro jamás vendido en el sitio de compra-venta Discogs, al cerrar la transacción en $6826.

A un mes, el sitio comunica que el récord fue batido por Prince: se trata de una copia de The Black Album de 1987, vendido a $15.000 dólares. Sí, quince mil dólares.

The Black Album fue publicado en 1994, pero inicialmente iba a eidtarse en 1987 como sucesor de Sign “O” the Times: incluso ya habían enviado promos a clubes y DJs. Pero apenas antes del lanzamiento, Prince decidió guardarlo y destruir todas las promos. Pero alguien consiguió guardar una copia y es por eso que este 12″ es algo extremadamente único.
