Peter Buck de R.E.M. dio inicio al Todos Santos Music Festival para ayudar con la organización mexicana sin fines de lucro Palapa Society of Todos Santos, A.C. Este fin de semana tuvo lugar el primer fin de semana y entre los artistas se dieron varios tributos a David Bowie. Entre ellos: Jeff Tweedy, Corin Tucker, el mismo Buck, Mike Mills de R.E.M. y más.
Tweedy tocó “All the Young Dudes” junto a su hijo Spencer, Mills y miembros de Wilco, the Minus 5, Old 97’s y the Jayhawks. Tucker, Buck, Mills y otros versionaron “Rebel Rebel” y “Jean Genie“.
